by admin477351

INDIANAPOLIS—Wildfires are making the air smoky and unhealthy for millions of people. Carrier wants to help you keep the air in your home clean and safe. The smoke from these fires contains tiny particles that can be bad for your health. Carrier suggests a few simple ways to protect yourself:

Use a good air filter in your air conditioner or furnace.

Check for gaps around windows and doors to keep smoke from getting in.

Use a portable air purifier to clean the air in your rooms.

“Your home might seem safe from wildfire smoke, but it’s not,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our products are made to help keep your indoor air safe and healthy.”

Carrier offers a variety of products to help, and the company recently gave away $2.5 million in air purifiers to schools and other essential locations in Los Angeles.
