Cambodia and Cuba have formalized an agreement to enhance collaboration in the tourism sector, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Cambodian Tourism Minister Huot Hak and Milena Caridad Zaldívar Piedra, Cuba’s Ambassador to Cambodia, in Siem Reap province.
The agreement establishes a cooperative framework aimed at promoting tourism development and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two countries. A key focus of the MoU is to expand Cambodia’s tourism market into Latin America, leveraging Cuba’s position in the region.
